Vysa - Film heating elements for wooden laminate
Radiant heating elements are suitable for use with many types of floor covering. Floating hardwood, wood laminate or wooden parquet floors can be installed directly with only heavy-duty polythene sheeting between the elements and floor covering. If you wish to use ceramic tiles, vinyl or carpets you must apply 6mm thick plywood over the heating elements before laying the floor covering.
Only a fraction of a millimetre thick, the large black surface area which radiates heat is the most efficient heating element currently available.
These radiant heating elements operate at the normal 230/240v mains voltage and are controlled by either type of thermostat.
Measure the room and then simply choose a combination of strip widths to match one dimension and a strip length to match the other dimension. Remember to allow clearance on the width as you must not overlap strips or cut the strip any narrower. You may cut the strip to reduce its length if necessary.
